Brave Health Group understands that many of our clients thrive in communities, which are safe, challenging but enjoyable. One of the aims of Brave Health Group is to ensure our community follows the same principles of being safe and challenged whilst enjoying activities. We know that when people come together in an environment, which has the above principles, they do better in their day-to-day functions. This is fundamental to our continued search for opportunities to develop an intense but rewarding group experience and the Himalayan Yoga Institute in Nepal achieves those needs. The aims of the Brave Health Group challenge workshops is to create a safe but goal orientated opportunity for our clients and partners to achieve their goals. The workshops have an embedded psychological focus whilst using the participant’s physical and psychological strength to achieve those goals.
Throughout the trip participants have access to our practitioners, which can include psychologists, personal trainers or occupational therapists. We believe that participant learning is maximised by guidance at the time of the event and as a result Brave Health Group's staff are always available. Brave Health Group also conducts daily group therapy sessions during the trip which is included in the total cost. The trip has a focus on some mild trekking, yoga and mindfulness experiences and the trip is achievable to most people with average fitness levels at the commencement of the challenge workshop.
Ideally, Brave Health Group suggests a preparation phase of three months to comfortably achieve your goals. To undertake the trip Brave Health Group carefully assesses the suitability of each participant and requires clearance from your medical practitoner Travel and health insurance is required for all participants. The adventure travel company utilised by Brave Health Group has a high standard of supervision, equipment and care and generally the trips are run over twelve days.
